Dear Mannheimers in and around Munich, 

The Presidents of our Munich Chapter, Natalia, Boliang  and Florian, want to invite you for an easy Sunday hike on July 13th!

Date and Time: Sunday, July 13th 2025 | event starts at 9.10 AM CEST (approx. 7 h)
Meeting point: Munich Main Station, platform 27 | Bayerstraße 10A, 80335 Munich

Approximate schedule 

Outward journey:
We meet at platform 27 at 9:10 AM (don't be there shortly before half past, otherwise the train will be full)
Departure: 9:29 AM BRB RB55 | Munich main station (The train will stop at platform 27-36, it's not always fixed)
Arrival: 10:25 AM | Schliersee Bahnhof

Hike:
Start of the hike to Gindelalm (duration approx. 1 h 50 min), then continue to Kreuzbergalm (additionally 30 min)
We will take a break of approx. 1 hour at one of the alms
After the break we will continue to Tegernsee (duration approx. 1 h 30 min)
Arrival Bräustüberl Tegernsee: approx. 3:30 PM

Return journey:
From Tegernsee to Munich main station possible individually (16:22, 16:52, 17:52, 18:22, 18:52, 19:52).

Everyone needs a  train ticket, e.g. the "Deutschlandticket" and of course hiking clothes and "equipment" and is responsible for their own food and drinks. 

The event is at own expenses (train tickets, Alm, Bräustüberl, etc.). Please bring cash as we cannot guarantee that there are any cashless payment options available. 

In the event of rainy weather, we will have to cancel the event. We will inform you at least two days in advance (latest Friday, July 11).
